My most used item is bendy straws. No woman wants to sit up straight to get a drink. Bendy straws are invaluable. I just lightened my load with my doula bag. I had 4 rice socks, now I just carry one. I used to have 7 or 8 music CDs, now I carry 2. I have a beautiful rebozo a client gave to me that I use to cover mom, use as an anchor with a squat bar and have used under moms hips/around her belly and a whole variety of ways. I carry an inflated birth ball. I also carry a small CD player, if there isn't a CD player in the room and I do carry a crock pot for warm perineal compresses. Sometimes I use everything in my doula bag. Sometimes I use what a wonderful doula, DK, said once, "My most used tools are my voice and my hands."Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10366997057632345422noreply@blogger.com
